Guitar Tutoring
Music has been a huge passion of mine for many years! I have been playing guitar since 1992, in an original band 1999 to 2000, covers bands since 2001, soloist (guitar & vocals) since 2012, worship music since 2012, and some guitar tutoring from 1995 to 2010. I’m also currently working on my own songs and some covers to release in the future as Singles, EP and LP etc.
From 2022 I have been building my guitar tutoring online and this includes recording a video after each session to email students for practice before the next session, all at their own pace and according to their preferences. I live in the Noosa Hinterland near Kin Kin. Some in-person sessions might be possible for locals.
There is also the option of booking Mentoring sessions (particularly for Youth) after some or all the guitar sessions, this has been working well as a package! I will consider group options too.
I listen to a lot of different styles of music, some artists who have influenced my guitar playing are – Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Slash (GN’R), Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Jack Jones (S.S), Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pearl Jam, Jeff Buckley, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Muse, Tom Morello (Audioslave), Jonny Lang, Lincoln Brewster, Phil Wickham, Third Day, and many others…

I have learnt lots of Worship songs too.
I can also teach students to sing and play songs and to change the key of some songs to suit their vocal range. I’m a baritone singer so I change the key of many songs for solo gigs.
